Covid-19 is still circulating, please be cautious, aware, and courteous.
Our venue is Black River Wild Forest and the McCauley Mountain Ski Resort.
Controls will be set up throughout the forest and marked on detailed maps indicating topography, various land features, and some vegetation. The goal is to find as many controls in the allotted time using only the map and a compass. Controls are given point values based on difficulty in locating/reaching and/or distance from home base.
Controls
Controls consist of 2 – 4 large bi-colored (orange and white) pieces of metal wrapped around a tree at the feature with manual punches and codes.
Maps
All participants will receive 3 maps at 1:15,000 scale, 5m contours, and printed on 13″ x 19″ paper.
Maps will be distributed at check in.

Check in will open at 6a on Saturday for the 2 day and 10h Saturday events and 8a for the 6h Saturday event.
Check In for the 6h Sunday racers will open at 6a. Passports/punch cards will be distributed at the start time for each race on both Saturday and Sunday. Participants will have their designated time limits for each day.
